AN INVITATION FROM THE PRESIDENT - Georgeanne LeDuc
Homer Laughlin chargers, Fostoria AMERICAN dinner plates, cups, saucers and champagnes. Fostoria ARGUS blue wines and fruits. Fostoria COLONY candlesticks w/prisms. This beautiful tablesetting included a copy of the American Creed; Invitation to a Federal Judge to attend a White House dinner in Washington D.C.; response card and Entrance to the White House card. Silverware was Wm. Rogers OLD COLONY, circa 1911.

BEST USE OF GLASS - Silver Award Winner
EASTER PARADE - Georgeanne LeDuc
Fostoria VESPER green dinner plates, Fostoria AMERICAN cream soups and underplates, goblets, cream and sugar with tray; Federal GEORGIAN LOVEBIRDS green cups and saucers. Centerpiece was Fostoria FAIRFAX green cakeplate and Fenton pink HOBNAIL basket. The tablesetting was designed around the antique linen hand-embroidered tea cloth which included the pink English rose from England, yellow daffodil from Wales, purple thistle from Scotland and the green shamrock from Ireland.

A messy baking lesson with green depression era measuring cup and reamer, along with green Jadite glassware. Puts you in the mood to get out in the kitchen and bake something yummy.

BY THE SEA, BY THE BEAUTIFUL SEA - Dorothy Alden
Glass on the beach was by Cambridge. Items with a shell motif are from Cambridge's Sea Shell line. Pink opaque nude stem (under the umbrella) was called Crown Tuscan by Cambridge. (Notice she has modestly donned a bathing suit for the occasion.) The two larger herons were by Cambridge, and the smaller by Duncan & Miller. The fish in the water were by Heisey.

NOW PLAYING - THOROUGHLY MODERN MANHATTAN - Martha Bernstein
This tablesetting was inspired by the 1967 movie "Thoroughly Modern Millie" starring Julie Andrews. The MANHATTAN glassware by Anchor Hocking Glass Company, 1938-43, showed beautifully on the purple tablecloth.

RIPPLE or CRINOLINE by Hazel Atlas Glass Company, early 1950s, set a perfect table for breakfast or lunch in the garden. You can almost hear the birds chirping.

ROYAL RUBY by Anchor Hocking, ENGLISH HOBNAIL by Westmoreland, and a music box completed this romantic tablesetting.
